Gibb River Road

A nice alternative to the boring paved highway.

This road varies in 'quality', last time I was on it (8 years or so ago), it was in pretty good condition.

It is the gateway to many brilliant waterfalls and the Mitchell Plateau.

The following picture is of Lennard Gorge. The track was (is?) reasonably challenging due to erosion. Your efforts are well rewarded as can be seen from the following picture. Time for another swim! One nice aspect of this water fall is that the camp area is right at the top, just be careful when heading out to water the scrub at night...
