Wittenoom Gorge

The Hamersley Range national park is a nice place to visit in the pilbara area of Western Australia.

I've taken toooo many pictures in this area over the years, though I've only included one here.

The following picture is a view from the lookout at Joffre Falls (the falls are in the other direction). There are many gorges in this national park, each has it's own character and most of them are reasonably accessible, i.e. you can climb down to the base. Many of them are linked together and you can swim/airbed ride down quite a few - the water is generally quite cold because it is so shaded from the sun.
